Founded in 1997, Kwangju Women's University is a private higher education institution located in the large city of Gwangju (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Korea, Kwangju Women's University (KWU) is a women only higher education institution. Kwangju Women's University (KWU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
