About the university
As its name is a university located in Suwon . It is a 2/3 year female university and a private school . The following are some of the statements made by the Doosan encyclopedia . Suwon Nursing High School, established in January 1969, is the predecessor of this university. It was reorganized as Suwon College of Nursing in 1979 and changed its name to Suwon Women's College in Suwon in 1998 and Suwon Women's College in 1998. In 1983, Suwon Inje Gakwon (founder Lee Byung-jik ) acquired the Suwon Nursing College from the Gyeonggi Provincial Board of Education Superintendent. In December 2011, the school changed its name to Suwon Women's University.
