Yonsei University (延Se-大學校, Yonsei University ) is a 1885 founded the Republic of Korea in the Protestant system private university is. Seoul Seodaemun of Sinchon campus and Kangwon Province Wonju the circumferential campus (Madge campus and consists monoxide campus [5] ), Incheon gu ( Song international city of) International Campus , Gyeonggi Goyang of samae campus consists. It is sometimes referred to as Yonsei University or Yantai. It has 22 colleges and 21 graduate schools. It is Kim Yong Hak who graduated from Yonsei University sociology department . Today, the name of Yonsei University was officially used after the merger of Yeonhee University and Severance Medical College in 1957. [8] The symbolic animal is an eagle. The symbolic color is 'Royal blue'. [10] Yonsei University's symbol mark has a shield on it. ' ㅇ ' in the shield means sky, ' ㅡ ' is ground, and ' ㅅ ' means man. The 'book' drawn on the left of the 'o' sign means truth, the 'torch' on the right means freedom, and the shield means defending these two ideals.
