About the university
Yeongnam University of Foreign Studies was established on December 29, 1993 under the title of Justice, Truth, and Service, and was approved for the establishment of the school. On July 21, 1994, the groundbreaking ceremony was successfully held. There were 9 weekly programs and 680 students at night. On January 25, 1995, I was asked by myself. On March 16, 1995, the first entrance ceremony began with 683 students in total, including nine at night and three at night. After the opening ceremony on May 23, 1995, they announced the opening of Yeongnam University. On August 09, 1995, a sisterhood relationship with Murray State University, Youngnam University, Kentucky, USA was concluded. On October 1, the first Youngnam University of Foreign Studies was opened. 87 students were given English conversation and free lectures.
