The specialty in information systems management is of great interest to students who wish to specialize in information analysis and data processing oriented towards the business world. This curriculum provides an overview of computer-based information systems, with a particular focus on business applications and management control. An information systems manager is primarily concerned with the information that computer systems can provide to help a company define and achieve its objectives, as well as the processes that a company can implement and improve using information. Such specialists assimilate both technical and organizational factors and help an organization determine how information and technological processes can provide a competitive advantage. They play a key role in determining information system requirements for an organization and actively participate in their specification, design, and execution. The student has to take six courses (18 credits) per semester. The candidate should have high school diploma and English proficiency proof. No application fees.
