The Kielce University of Technology is the oldest and the only state-owned technology-oriented higher education institution with the Polytechnic status in the Świętokrzyskie region. As a research institution, we collaborate with many business and business-related organizations as well as municipal and regional authorities. The University plays an important role in the development of modern industry and the expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Świętokrzyskie voivodship. As a university, we believe that success depends on satisfied students, staff and external partners. Today, the University has five faculties: the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, the Faculty of Environmental, Geomatic and Energy Engineering, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control and Computer Science, the Faculty of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering, and the Faculty of Management and Computer Modelling. There are over 10,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in 19 disciplines and more than 50 specialisms. The University has the right to award the degree of doctor of science and technology in seven disciplines: automation and robotics, civil engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, production engineering, mechanics, and mechanical engineering. It has also the right to award the degree of habilitated doctor of science and technology in three disciplines: mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electrical engineering. The Kielce University of Technology is an academic higher education institution offering first, second and third cycle programmes.

Student visa

4 steps to get a visa: 1) Find a Polish Consulate/ consular section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland that can process your application. 2) Set a visa appointment with the consulate. 3) Prepare the necessary documents, including application form, travel document (passport), biometric photo, health insurance, sufficient means to support yourself, documents confirming the purpose of your stay. 4) Submit all the documents including a printed and signed application form and the visa fee.

Accommodation

International students can apply for accommodation in one of the six dormitories which are located near the University building (5 minutes walk). The dormitories for international students has 2-bed rooms. The future occupants do not have to bring any bedding. There is a sanitary facility and a kitchen on the floor, so you have to share these rooms with other students. Price: about 100EUR/month/person.
