Officially accredited/recognized by the National Universities Commission, Nigeria. Yobe State University (YSU) is a coeducational higher education institution. Yobe State University (YSU) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. YSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services. The Mission of Yobe State University is to provide excellent, modern, free and dynamic environment and adequate facilities, conducive for training and research, through its programs for students to acquire the right type of knowledge and skills of good quality that would enable them to be self-employable and that are relevant to the transformation and accelerated development of Yobe State, Nigeria and the world in general through service.
