About the university
The Polytechnic, Imesi-Ile was established on the 12th July, 2013 by Ministry of Education through National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). It was born out of decision of the stakeholders at the economic summit with the aim of solving the chronic social and economic problems facing the community today. Our mission is to improve accessibility to quality education, training and employment by providing a variety of high quality academic, professional and vocational training courses in order to enable individuals obtain employment, career, profession and international recognition. The Polytechnic has a vision for students, training and development techniques in applied Science, Engineering, Business Administration, and other spheres of learning with view of meeting the present and future needs in commerce, industry and the public services.
