About the university
Southeastern University College (HSN) is the nation's second largest state college, measured in total students, and more than more of today's universities. The rector reports to the HSN Board, led by Professor Rune Nilsen. We have about 18,000 students and 1,500 employees and consist of eight campuses: Drammen, Vestfold, Kongsberg, Ringerike, Bø, Notodden, Porsgrunn and Rauland. Southeastern University College must be regionally anchored, and with eight campuses we are clearly and strongly present in one of the country's most exciting and dynamic regions. The University College in Southeastern Norway was formed on 1 January 2016, when the University College in Buskerud and Vestfold merged with the University College in Telemark.
