About the university
At the beginning of the 20th century the National School of Agriculture was founded with the support of a Belgian mission from the University of Gembloux, and since 1960 it has been recognized as the National Agrarian University of La Molina; Current center of academic excellence and leadership in agricultural and environmental research. The Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina offers 12 undergraduate and postgraduate degrees: 7 doctorates and 26 master's degrees, designed to train graduates and researchers prepared to generate scientific knowledge of the highest level. We are dedicated to the training of competent professionals for the agro-forestry, fishing, food and economic sectors, who are distinguished by being leaders, proactive, innovative, competitive, with management capacity and social commitment.
