About the university
Military Academy of Arts is the heir heritage Knight School (1765-1794) and continues the tradition of the Military Academy (1919-1946) and the National Defense Academy (1991-2016). Educates officers for the needs of headquarters, staffs, universities, military institutions and civilian defense-related state. Youth preparing for civilian public tasks, particularly in the field of national security and emergency response system. The structure of the Academy is the only one in Poland and one of the most modern in Europe and Simulation Center War Games, specialized Training Center for Defense against weapons of mass destruction, as well as the Center for Security Studies, constituting the center of analysis and expertise to the needs of public authorities.
