About the university
Kuyavian-Pomeranian Higher School in Bydgoszcz is a non-public higher school. It was founded in 2000 on the initiative of Founders Helena and Roman Czakowski. Works according to the Higher Education Act. On the basis of the decision of the Minister of National Education of December 29, 2000 Kujawsko-Pomorski Higher School was entered in the register of non-public HEIs under No. 51 (After the introduction of an electronic register of non-public universities, the current NPS No. in the register is No. 190). The rules governing the functioning of the University are governed by the statutes and bylaws of studies passed by the Senate of the KPSW. Institutional bodies of the University are: The President, Rector, Deacons and collegiate bodies are the Convention, the Senate, the Trusteeship Council and the Faculty Council. From the beginning of its existence, ie since 2000, the Kujawsko-Pomorski Higher School in Bydgoszcz operates on the basis of NON-PROFIT, which means that it is non-profit-making and the entire profit is spent on investments. The university also has other qualities relevant to non-profit organizations, ie: expressive and durable organizational structure, structural independence from public authorities, self-government and voluntariness.
