Jan Wyżykowski University in Polkowice (UJW) - Polish non-public university in Polkowice in Lower Silesia. Until December 31, 2015 Lower Silesian School of Entrepreneurship and Technology (DWSPiT). The school was established on January 8, 2002 by the decision of the Minister of National Education and Sport and was entered into the register of non-state vocational schools under the number 91 headed by the ministry [1]. The establishment of the Polkowice high school was connected with the efforts of local authorities who wanted to provide higher education in economic and technical education for local youth who were not able to take up education in larger urban centers. John Wyżykowski's University in Polkowice consists of 2 faculties [2]. The college educates several thousand students in full-time and part-time studies and postgraduate studies. It offers nine basic courses of study, after which graduates can obtain a bachelor's or bachelor's degree with an option to pursue a master's degree at the JU or at universities all over the country.
