Politechnika Lubelska powstała z inicjatywy lubelskiego środowiska techników, inżynierów i naukowców w roku 1953. Obecnie w strukturze organizacyjnej Politechniki Lubelskiej funkcjonuje sześć wydziałó Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Construction and Architecture, Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Department of Management, Faculty of Technology Wydział Podstaw Techniki Since its founding, Lublin University of Technology has been teaching engineering staff and conducting research, mainly for the needs of our region. The main fields of research currently carried out at the university are related to the development of construction and technology, the protection of the environment and the saving of materials and energy. Lublin University of Technology conducts expertise and conducts consulting activities. As a result of the research conducted here, there are also numerous scientific publications as well as patents and protections. The Library of Lublin University of Technology is at the disposal of researchers, students and all interested. The publications of the Lublin University of Technology staff are also collected here. In 2009 the Convention of the Technical University of Lublin was established, which acts as the advisory and advisory body of the Rector. For several years the Forum-Politechnika Club has been active, which aims to integrate the scientific, economic and cultural environment of the Lubelskie region and to take initiatives for its development.
