About the university
The University was established on 1 September 2001 from the combination of the Technical University of Zielona Góra (founded in 1965 as the School of Engineering) and the Higher School of Pedagogy (founded in 1971 as a School Teacher). The main buildings of the university are located in two locations of the city. Campus A form a unit of the former University Zielonogórskiej and located on a street Podgórna . B consists of the campus buildings former WSP which are mainly to the alley Polish Army . University rector's office is located near the Old Market , the street high school . The annual celebration of the students , referring to the wine tradition of the city, was named Bacchanalia .
