About the university
The Institute of Applied Informatics and Management (IPIiM) was established in 1996. Its founder was the Foundation for the Spread of System Sciences, which was founded on the initiative of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Acting under the auspices of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), the Institute gives excellent knowledge to its students due to its scientific and teaching staff, consisting mainly of employees of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The most capable students have the opportunity to continue research work at the Institute of System Sciences of the PAN, with which the Institute collaborates in the field of postgraduate study. The Institute is one of the leading universities in the field of information technology in Poland - it prepares programmers, graphs and managers.
