About the university
The State Higher Vocational School in Zamosc was established by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 07 June 2005 and is the only public university of its type in the region, and since 01 October 2009 pursuant to a resolution of the Council of Ministers of 29 September 2009 the PWSZ was named Simon Szymonowicz. PWSZ in Zamość conducts didactic classes at the level of first degree studies and engineering and postgraduate studies. The PWSZ Rectorate in Zamosc is located within the Old Town at ul. Pereca 2. The university has adopted an institute structure, which consists of: Institute of Social Sciences Institute of Mathematics and Innovative Technologies Institute of Humanities Natural Science and Technology Institute Institute of Tourism and Recreation The mission of the PWSZ in Zamość is to offer high quality education in the form of knowledge and skills that the university gives its graduates for their further living.
