About the university
Pope John Paul II Suwalska-Mazurian University was formed on the initiative of the "Association for the Integration of Europe". According to the decision of the Minister of National Education was entered in the Register of Universities of Higher Non-State Ministry of Education under no. 136 in 1997. The university offers three-year undergraduate degree and continuation of two-year MA studies in selected universities nationwide. Students have the opportunity to develop their academic interests through participation and active participation in the university's symposia and seminars with representatives of science, local politicians and businessmen. These meetings are a kind of confrontation of science with practice and familiarity and gaining experience by students through public lectures: lectures and discussions.
