Its facilities are located in the central business district of the city, at Jardim Príncipe Real near Bairro Alto and Chiado , in Lisbon , Portugal . It functions inside a building built in the Pombaline Period , when the Lisbon Earthquake of 1755 devastated the entire city of Lisbon . Its creation and operation are based on Ordinance No. 1072/90 of 24 October by the Ministry of Education (Portugal) , and the study plan is approved and where the value of the diplomas awarded is recognized, with effects corresponding to those of degree Of public higher education.
