The following may apply to attend this Master's Course a) holders of a licenciado degree or legal equivalent; b) Holders of a foreign academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna process by a State that adheres to that process; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as fulfilling the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the statutorily competent body; d) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized by the statutorily competent body of ULHT as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies. Seriation criteria - 50% grade of the previous qualification - 50% mark of the curricular appreciation Applicants with no previous qualification or with no classification of previous qualification - 75% appreciation of the curriculum vitae - 25% Motivation and Justification Objectives This master's program aims to promote an in-depth understanding of the factors that contribute to the development and trajectories of educational systems in different parts of the world, and promotes in students the research skills needed to understand, compare, and critically evaluate the educational policies and practices that characterize educational processes. Career Prospects This master's degree promotes the development of employability skills, appealing both in the public and private sectors, in Portugal or abroad. In this sense, the Masters in Comparative and International Education may come to play roles in sectors of the State related to education, in governmental and non-governmental organizations, in consulting firms in education and in research centers.
