Admission Conditions Holders of a Licentiate's Degree in Psychology may apply to this cycle of studies in Psychology leading to a Master's Degree. Seriation Criteria - 50% mark of the previous qualification - Interview - 30% Scientific or professional CV - 20% Motivation and justification Candidates without previous qualification - 80% Scientific or professional CV - 20% Motivation and Justification Objectives The MSc Course in Clinical and Health Psychology of the Lusófona University of Lisbon has as its general objective to offer its students theoretical and practical training in the main areas of intervention of the clinical and health psychologist. It is intended that students develop competences at the level of knowledge, reflection and implementation, namely - intervention models - promotion and maintenance of health and quality of life - prevention programmes; - evaluation and treatment in situations of physical and mental suffering - ethical decision-making; - Research in clinical and health psychology. Future Studies Enables the access to the 3rd Cycle in Psychology or in related areas, namely the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Cognitive-Behavioural Orientation of Lusófona University. Career Prospects The professional opportunities include institutions in the area of mental health (Hospitals, Clinics, Consulting Rooms, IPSS, NGOs, etc.) that provide intervention in Clinical and Health Psychology. These opportunities depend on registration in the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) and completion of the Junior Professional Year, supervised by the OPP, which is compulsory for the exercise of the profession.
