Admission Requirements The following may apply to the cycle of studies that leads to the mestre degree a) holders of a licenciado degree or legal equivalent; b) Holders of a foreign academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna process by a State that adheres to that process; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as fulfilling the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the statutorily competent body; d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized by the statutorily competent body of ULHT as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies. Recipients The MSc course in Informatics Engineering and Information Systems of the Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa is intended for students who intend to - Acquire an advanced level of specialization in the areas of Computer Engineering and Information Systems, allowing access to higher levels of professional hiring... - Acquire skills to carry out research and development activities, ensuring an excellent acceptance in the job market. This Masters is also aimed at managers and technicians who work in the areas of coordination or development of Computer Science and/or Information Systems Projects, who wish to consolidate their knowledge in their areas of intervention and ensure effective progression in their professional careers. To enter this Master's program, candidates must - Hold a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent in the areas of Computer Science and/or Information Systems or related areas; - Hold an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting to their ability to carry out this Master's program - Hold a foreign academic degree that is recognized as satisfying the objectives of the degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems and related areas. Career Prospects Through a cycle of studies counting with the collaboration of companies and R&D institutions, MEISI implements a program designed to guarantee its candidates a high degree of employability, with emphasis on the following profiles: - Solution Engineer / Architect; - Architect / Information Systems Manager; - Business Developer (Innovation and Entrepreneurship); - Teacher / Researcher.
