Seriation Criteria - 50% mark of the previous qualification - Interview - 30% Scientific or professional CV - 20% Motivation and justification Candidates without previous qualification - 80% Scientific or professional CV - 20% Motivation and Justification Objectives The Master's Degree in Applied Neuropsychology aims to provide specialised training appropriate for various contexts, to promote knowledge and clinical practice in neuropsychological assessment and cognitive rehabilitation and to develop and stimulate research skills, taking as its guiding principle the scientist-practitioner model, which assumes that good preparation as a professional implies the acquisition of professional and research skills. Career Prospects The professional outlets for a student with a Master's degree in Neuropsychology include institutions in the area of health (Public and Private Hospitals; Private Clinics; Rehabilitation Centres, etc.) that are dedicated to the treatment of sequelae of neurological diseases or even in the area of Mental Health. These outlets may also include Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) in these areas of Psychology, or an academic career by applying for research grants for Research Units. As in any other area of Psychology, the professional opportunities include the possibility of developing a private activity after completing a Professional Internship at the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses.
