Seriation criteria - 100% CV evaluation Objectives Many of the professionals working in the Social areas (cooperatives, mutual societies, associations), namely in the privileged intervention sectors of social solidarity institutions, do not possess specific management competences, despite the fact that they are increasingly often called upon to take on responsibilities in this area. This gap becomes more evident if we take into consideration business structures, holders of such competences, which in recent years have been investing in social areas, from banks, insurers and profit-making companies, with evident levels of public acceptance and social effectiveness. It is in this sense that the Institute of Social Service promotes this Master's Degree, with the objective of providing professionals in Social Service and related areas, with the knowledge and techniques and the instruments indispensable to the management of institutions/organisations in the social sector. Further Studies Specialisation and post-graduate programmes, including 3rd cycle programmes referring to doctoral studies.
