In January and July of each year, the seminars foreseen in the curricular part of the Doctoral Program will take place in a concentrated manner. These periods of stay in Portugal also allow students to have close contact with their supervisors, to review the literature required for their research in Portuguese libraries, and to attend scientific and cultural events. The Program has Distance Learning facilities that will support the candidates in all phases of their research. Within the scope of existing protocols with foreign HEIs, or those belonging to the Lusophone Group, forms of on-site support may be developed in the countries of origin, namely of a methodological nature, when the material and scientific conditions exist.
