Admission Requirements The following are eligible to apply to the cycle of studies that leads to the degree of "mestre" (master) in Economics a) holders of a licenciado degree or legal equivalent in the area of Economics, Management or Business Science; b) Holders of a foreign academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna process by a State adhering to that process in the same areas; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the statutorily competent body; d) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized by the statutorily competent body of ULHT as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies. Seriation criteria - 50% note of the previous qualification - 30% curricular appreciation - 20% Interview For candidates who do not hold a prior qualification or do not have a prior qualification, the following criteria apply 50% curricular appreciation 50% CV review Objectives The Master in Economics proposes a second cycle training oriented to students and professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge in economics and aims at the acquisition of skills valued by the labor market. Recipients Holders of the 1st cycle degree in Economics and Management; Holders of the pre-Bologna degree in Economics and Management (with a 5-year degree*); Holders of other higher education degree who wish to deepen their knowledge in economics and specifically in the two proposed areas of specialization.** Holders of a foreign academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree in one of the areas mentioned in the previous paragraph by the Scientific Committee of the Department of Economic and Business Sciences; Whose integration in the Masters is subject to analysis of possible equivalences. Frequency is subject to curricular evaluation. For these students is expected the teaching of introductory modules of introduction to economics, also admitting the frequency in undergraduate courses.
