About the university
The University of Portucalense Infante D. Henrique is an institution of cooperative higher education and of scientific investigation whose creation was supported legally through the Order no. 122/86, of June 28 being recognized its utility. In accordance with this legal determination and under the name of University Portucalense Infante D. Henrique, began on June 30 of that year, its activities and the beginning of the operation of the courses on October 16, 1986. This institution teaches different courses recognized by the tutelage, for which it has a qualified and qualified faculty, distributed by four Departments: Law, Psychology and Education, Economics Management and Informatics and Tourism Heritage and Culture.
