About the university
The project of what today is the Adventist Faculty of Theology has its origin in Madrid in 1943. In its development process, the Seminary of Theology is established in Valencia since 1967. Since 1974, The Campus of the current Sagunto Adventist University Center. Since the academic year 2011/12, the FAT has awarded its graduates the degrees and Master's degrees in Theology. The FAT is an institution of Higher Education of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, established in 209 countries of the world of the 232 recognized by the UN and implanted in Spain since 1903. Spanish Adventist Union. FAT's mission is to offer its students a solid biblical, theological and social formation, in harmony with scientific knowledge and in the framework of loyalty to the principles of the Scriptures, in order to favor the development of the physical, mental dimensions , Social and spiritual, in a balanced way, for a better service to the Church and society. This is well expressed in his motto " Fides, Scientia et Ministerium ": the development of the faith through the knowledge of divine revelation for a better service to the church and to the world.
