About the university
EOI was founded on July 12, 1955 as a result of the agreement reached between the Ministries of Education and Industry being the first business school in Spain and one of the first in Europe. The fascinating history of these years can be consulted in the book " EOI, 50 years of vanguard " of the journalist Pedro A. Muñoz published in 2005 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the constitution of the school and thanks to the research work on The history of the School made by Professor Emilio de Diego. In these more than 60 years we have contributed decisively to the modernization of the Spanish economy and industry and we have been protagonists of some important milestones in the formation of executives in Spain. Thus in 1976 we started to teach the Environmental Programs, being the first Environmental Business School to grant an officially recognized degree.
