About the university
The university of Dongola was founded upon the republican decree No.(67) for the year 1994 beginning with the three colleges of Waldi Elneel and which geographically located in the northern State its present bounders. There are the college of science and Agriculture Elsilaim the college of archeology and heritage\ Kareema, and the college of Mining and Geology .\ Wadi Halfa Hence, the university set off towards expansion and development to include 13 other colleges, Agriculture Science, Arts Human studies Mining and Geology Education for teachers, Law and Legislation\ Education Literary sections\ Medicine and Health Science, Economics and Administrative Sciences Higher studies, Technology and Human Development\ Education\ Roomi Elbakri Administrative Sciences\ College of Sociology (three training research centers) Hamad Al Abdulla Eljumeih for Scientific researches, inheritance research centre\ Academic performance development and Human resources centre. The Administration of the University of Dongola is located in Dongola City. The university has an infrastructure liable to promotion development and expansion. There are studies and ideas to add same more colleges which are essential for the community of the Northern State.
