About the university
When the faculty of dentistry of Monastir opened its doors in November 1975, its direction was entrusted to the late Professor Mahmoud Yaâcoub, who was also in charge of the faculty of pharmacy. As a dean of two faculties, Professor M. Yaâcoub had the task of creating everything, because nothing existed at that time, no premises, no teachers, no curriculum.
