Official title: 132 Applied Materials Science Namber of credits: 240 ECTS credits Required background: full secondary education Program learning outcomes: • to apply typical analytical methods and modern software complexes for solving engineering problems of materials science; • to use knowledge of theoretical foundations of work processes in materials science, computer modeling and design of materials; • to select materials and develop technologies for obtaining parts and components of machine-building industry in accordance with the specification using standard design automation tools; • to use energy efficiency methods at the stage of creating new technologies for obtaining materials and products from them; • to carry out research of structure, physical, mechanical, functional and technological properties of materials, conduct analysis, synthesis and their scientific forecasting; • to work out technical documentation in accordance with ECTS requirements
