About the university
Since opening in 1944, the Regional Institute of Teachers, each created library of professional office, accumulated periodicals. This material became the basis of the library, which launched in 1953. Over the years, it is the branch of the institute was difficult path of development, achievements and experience traditions that remain today. At the root of the creation and development of libraries, librarians were VG Babkov, LI Bannikova, SJ Segal. In October 1990 at the library of the Institute was successfully held republican seminar "Business Libraries Regional Institute of improvement of teachers to promote educational literature during the courses for teaching staff." Since 1991, the library is headed by Natalia Alexeeva. The library also working librarians Svitlana Palamarchuk and Irina Bilichuk. According to the Regulation "On the network of educational libraries" Library of the Academy performs educational and methodical, informational, educational functions in teacher training and is a regional center for educational information.
