About the university
АНГЛИЙСКИЙ "Ramber" is the National Company of Contemporary Dance, the oldest existing dance company in the UK. It was founded in 1926 by the teacher and choreographer Marie Rambert on the basis of her dance school studio. Initially, the troupe was called the "Ballet Club" (Rambert's Ballet Club), in 1935 it became known as "Ballet Rambert". In 1987, when her repertoire no longer had classical choreography, she changed her name and began to perform as "The Dance Company of Ramberm" (Rambert Dance Company). In 2013, reduced its name to the laconic "Ramber".
