About the university
Birthingway is a campus-based non-profit MEAC accredited school for Direct-Entry midwives and related birth professionals located in Portland, Oregon. Midwifery students may receive a midwifery certificate or a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (BSM) degree. Lactation Consultation students may receive an Associate of Science in Lactation Consultation (ASL) Degree. We also offer workshops and certification for Labor Doulas, Postpartum Doulas, Childbirth Educators, and Breastfeeding Educators.
