About the university
The College of New Rochelle provides students with a rigorous academic experience and extensive preparation for a successful career in a supportive, values-driven community. Founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order, we honor our Catholic origin and heritage through a longstanding commitment to intellectual engagement, inclusivity, and service. The College comprises four schools — the School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Nursing & Healthcare Professions, the Graduate School, and the School of New Resources for adult learners. Our mission to provide broad access to higher education and foster lifelong learning is carried out at our historic campus in New Rochelle, New York, and at four additional locations throughout the boroughs of New York City. At CNR, an exceptional faculty and approximately 3,500 dedicated students join together to form a community of learners prepared to contribute to society in rich and varied ways.
