About the university
LIM College is a private, for-profit, specialized undergraduate and graduate college focused on the business of fashion in Midtown Manhattan. The college was founded in 1939 by Maxwell F. Maxwell Marcuse's son, Adrian G. Marcuse, was president from 1972 to 2002, succeeded by Elizabeth S. Marcuse. In 2009, the school changed its name to LIM College. As of October 2015, LIM College’s undergraduate enrollment was 1,515. The undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio was 8 to 1 and the average class size was 18. There were also 185 students enrolled in the LIM College's graduate programs.
