About the university
IHM Academy of EMS is approved by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. The IHM Health Studies Center/Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). The Paramedic Program is a consortium with Washington University School of Medicine which is nationally accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) – the Higher Learning Commission. IHM Academy of EMS is a satellite Training Center through National College of Technical Instruction (NCTI) for American Heart Association courses.
