Phoenix College

Established in 1920, Phoenix College is the flagship of the Maricopa Community Colleges, a district that ranks as one of the nation’s largest community college systems and the single largest provider of higher education and career training in Arizona. Phoenix College is a learner-centered, comprehensive community college dedicated to providing affordable, high quality and accessible education to the diverse community it serves. A rich history and a cutting edge learning environment coexist at PC, providing our students with a unique campus experience that is second to none. The campus sports a blend of both modern and traditional historic buildings that includes state of the art instructional classrooms, a one-stop enrollment center, a modern library and computer lab, a performing arts theatre, culinary café, gymnasium, and a community dental clinic, as well as premium athletic fields and a fitness center. Offering over 150 degree and certificate programs, including 3 online degrees, Phoenix College serves approximately 28,000 students each year, preparing them for university transfer, career training and advancement, or lifelong learning (demographic data). Phoenix College's diverse student body speaks over 50 different languages, representing over 100 different countries, and is reflective of the multicultural central city community it serves.
