About the university
Northern Maine Community College is a community college in Presque Isle, Maine and one of the seven colleges in the Maine Community College System. The 87-acre (350,000 m2) campus was founded in 1961 on the grounds of the former Presque Isle Air Force Base. The first class entered the college in 1963, since then there are over 7000 graduates meeting the needs of employers throughout the state.
