About the university
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Covington, Tennessee, aims to serve the students and community of Tennessee through its competency-based technical programs. Its goal is to provide training to help get students gainful employment upon a program's completion or to advance students' skills and increase technical knowledge, all of which will contribute to the economic and community development of Tennessee. Programs at the technology center fall under three different categories: day programs, supplemental evening programs, and special industry programs. They are designed as open entry/open exit courses, allowing students to receive training that is self-paced and individualized.
