Transylvania University is a highly-ranked liberal arts university in the progressive city of Lexington, Kentucky, USA. Founded in 1780, Transy is the 16th-oldest higher education institution in the U.S. and provides a challenging, relationship-rich environment for students, in part due to the engaging faculty whose goal it is to encourage personal fulfillment and professional success. By offering 46 majors and unlimited self-designed options, Transy prepares graduates to excel in the real world. Within six months of graduation, 95 percent of graduates have a job or are in graduate school, including a 100-percent acceptance rate to law school and a 90-plus-percent acceptance rate to medical and health schools for recommended students.
