Founded in 1915, Tennessee Tech, or TTU as it is known in the South is a nationally ranked comprehensive university which offers majors in 7 colleges (the College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Education, College of Arts & Sciences, College of Agriculture & Human Ecology the College of Fine Arts and the College of Interdisciplinary Studies). Additionally we have a School of Nursing and Pre-Medical Professional Program for those interested in Medical school. Center for ESL open and accepting applicants 6 sessions a year, $2400 each session apply at www.tntech.edu/CESL

TTU encourages our US and international students to interact with the support of many international clubs and organizations, like Tech Buddies which a US student is paired with an international students and mentors them during their initial semester. Additionally we have the International Friends organization in which local families adopt a student for cross cultural interaction and invite them to do activities in the area or join them for holidays and dinner parties.

Tennessee Technological University has one of the lowest cost of living in the entire USA. Cookeville (the home of TTU) was ranked the 2nd most affordable college town in the USA in 2016! Many see the cost of living as a huge plus and advantage. Located in one of the safest areas, Cookeville has one of the lowest crime rates in the USA, students find it very refreshing to feel safe at school or off campus
