As an economics student at UW-Stevens Point, you will learn to model the behavior of individuals, businesses and governments to analyze resource allocation, firm performance and public policies. You will also develop analytical-thinking skills that can be successfully applied in business, law, public administration and other fields. The UW-Stevens Point School of Business and Economics (SBE) creates career-ready graduates. We deliver in-demand skills, professional development experiences and access to employers. UW-Stevens Point earned accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for our School of Business and Economics. Graduates will complete degrees from a program ranked among the top 20 percent in the nation and top 5 percent in the world. Our alumni are employed in such fields as manufacturing, banking, insurance and real estate. They work in firms of different sizes, locally and internationally. Students take courses in business, consumer behavior, marketing research, digital marketing, sports marketing, international marketing and strategy.
