About the university
The University of Wisconsin-Washington County is a freshman/sophomore campus of the University of Wisconsin, one of the finest university systems in the world. UW-Washington County offers courses that are the foundation for more than 250 majors. Academic offerings include day and evening credit courses, study skills workshops and a college success course. Bachelor degree programs through UW-Oshkosh, UW-Milwaukee and UW-Platteville make it possible for students to earn a four-year degree at the West Bend campus site. Nestled in the beautiful Kettle Moraine, all buildings on campus are inter-connected, with a courtyard in the center. The addition of the Collins Science Wing in 2002, added over 70,000 square feet of state-of-the-art science and computer labs, as well as new classroom space. The third floor of the wing was completed in 2008. This area includes lecture halls, engineering labs, faculty offices, a commons area where students can relax or study, and a new Board room.
