La Maestría en Ciencias Cognitivas es una propuesta interdisciplinaria de la que participan las facultades de Ingeniería, Psicología y Ciencias de la Universidad de la República. Se denominan Ciencias Cognitivas al conjunto de disciplinas que desde sus perspectivas y metodologías intentan comprender cómo distintos tipos de agentes logran acumular, utilizar y procesar conocimiento para desempeñarse en el mundo, independientemente si el agente que obtiene el conocimiento es un animal o una máquina.
