About the university

The Tashkent Institute of Chemistry and Technology was established in May 1991 on the basis of the Chemical and Technological Faculty of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute. It is the leading chemical-technological university in Uzbekistan. The Institute trains specialists for chemical, oil refining, and biochemical industries.
