About the university
Tashkent Institute of Railway Transport Engineers (TashIIT) is a higher educational institution in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) for training specialists in the design, construction, operation and repair of railways. It was founded in 1931. Until 1937 the Central Asian Institute of Railway Transport Engineers was named.
