Established in 2003, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the metropolis of Dhaka (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This HE institution does not have a selective admission policy. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. BUBT also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sport facilities and/or activities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
