About the university
Escuela Superior de Economia y Negocios (ESEN) is a private, non-profit center for higher learning that offers careers in Economics and Business, Law and Engineering. In 1997 ESEN opened an Entrepreneur Center, a unit whose mission is to promote and develop entrepreneurship among employers to create jobs. The School of Economics and Business, is a private educational institution of El Salvador that offers undergraduate studies. The ESEN was created, as it appears in its document of constitution, the 7 of September of 1993; Its statutes were approved by agreement No. 1574 of the Executive Branch in the Education Branch dated March 11, 1994 and its legal status was approved in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Regulations for the Application of the Law on Private Universities . It was founded by a group of entrepreneurs from the Foundation for Higher Education and was established as a non-profit institution. It began offering in 1994 a unique race denominated Degree in Economy and Business, aspiring to become the best business school of the country.
